On May 12th and 13th, 2023, St Andrews Girton hosted their Action Abroad Art Exhibition to raise funds for their church project in Africa. The exhibition showcased an impressive variety of artwork, with prices ranging from £20 to £400. The local community came out in full force to support the cause, including a class from Girton Glebe Primary School.

Thanks to the overwhelming support, St Andrews Girton was able to raise over £1000 for the Domboshawa Theological College in Zimbabwe. David Alderson and David Maxwell, both UK trustees of the college, visited the exhibition and praised Clare Conboy and the entire team at St Andrews Girton for their efforts in organising such a successful event.

The funds raised will make a significant impact in supporting theological students at Domboshawa Theological College in pursuing their studies. It is crucial to continue supporting the college as it plays a critical role in equipping leaders with theological knowledge and improving the effectiveness of the church through contextually relevant programs. St Andrews Girton’s Art Exhibition has made a valuable contribution to this effort.
